Hi, I'm Camila, and I love to make cool sh*t. Cool sh*t for you, specifically.
Welcome to my portfolio! I'm a multimedia creative with experience on and off set producing and editing sports, marketing, and fashion editorial video content, as well as operating cameras for live broadcasts and assisting camera, creative, and direction departments on sets and in the field.
At Appalachian State University, I gained technical knowledge in all aspects of production, including lighting techniques, camera operation, audio recording, and editing. I am also a written storyteller experienced in AP style, copy, newsletters, and professional-standard screenplays, trained in Creative and Rhetorical writing. Long way to tell you I have two Bachelor's degrees, one in each respective field. Which is pretty cool.
Not reading all that. Just keep scrolling to see the work.

Social Media & Content Manager.
During my time at Groundhog, I developed a cohesive visual brand identity and a distinctive written voice for the company, including the slogan "Stay grounded," which was used in all social media communications. Our main focus was Instagram, where I designed and launched short-term paid ad campaigns to target our local student market. A promotion I created surrounding a local music festival led to our biggest sale day to date. Lastly, I created a press release to promote the opening of the coffee shop to our local print media outlets, leading to interviews and coverage from local legacy newspapers like the Watauga Democrat & High Country Press.

"GroundHog Club" Punchcard Promo
Designed and implemented a coffee punch card promotion to reward customer loyalty, improve retention, and incentivize sales.

"Thaw Out" Festival Promo
Designed and implemented a group order promotion to expand reach, align our brand with our local target consumer, and maintain relevance through a popular, iconic event.
Instagram Layout
Photographed, edited graphics, wrote copy, shot & edited video content.

Instagram Carousel
Designed and wrote copy for an Instagram graphic to introduce our brand and philosophy to our audience and boost authentic engagement by educating our audience.

Instagram Reel
"Matcha ASMR"
Created a short-form vertical video that captures the simple, ritualistic process of making a matcha latte, ending with a candid laugh from the barista. My goal was to visually communicate what the brand is: minimalistic, young, quality- and craft-focused. Combined with the short and simple jump-cut style popular on Instagram Reels, this video communicated: Approachable staff, serious about coffee & tea.
